三亚航空旅游职业学院是中国国家教育部批准备案的全日制高职院校，是海南省内唯一获批“双高”学校的民办高职高专，隶属于方大集团旗下的海航航空集团。学校成立于2005年，位于海南省三亚市中心城区，新校区位于三亚市育才片区，占地930亩，正在建设中。现有招生专业42个，拥有在校生1万余人。建校以来，学校获得国家级称号专业5个、国家级课程思政优秀教学团队1个、建设国家及省级课程19门，拥有中国民航局民用航空器维修、危险品运输、航空安全员、无限航区船员、免税品导购等培训资质30余项，拥有全国科普教育基地、中国民航科普教育基地、汉莎飞机维修技术国家级协同创新中心、海南省高技能人才培训基地、海南省研学旅行基地、海南省航海科技馆、退役军人培训基地、民航运输省级特色实训教学示范中心等，制定了《航空服务顶岗实习标准》、《民航运输顶岗实习标准》2项国家标准。2025年,学校入选中外青少年社会实践活动基地。
学校依托“两航一游”专业优势，创新构建高职层次来华留学生“双证书”培养模式，成功开展“中文+酒店服务技能”、“中文+空中乘务技能”、“中文+专业学历”来华留学项目，其中尼泊尔“酒店人才班”累计培养酒店管理“外国工匠”逾两千人次；招收俄语国家语言进修生、学历留学生累计100余名；泰国“空乘人才班”创新航空服务国际人才培养机制，搭建起21世纪海上丝绸之路的文化、教育交流平台。此外，学校近五年还协办了五期由中国国家商务部主办、海南省商务厅承办的“一带一路”国家援外培训，来自沿线23个国家近200名民航从业人员先后参加学习。2022年，学校取得海南海事局颁发的外籍船员培训课程认证，成为全国首家外籍船员培训试点院校；2024年，学校参与开发3项老挝教育体育部认证的职业标准。
Sanya Aviation and Tourism College is a full-time vocational college,which is the only private vocational college in Hainan Province that has been approved as the college with high-level higher vocational college and professional groups,and it’s affiliated to the HNA Aviation Group under the Fangda Group.Founded in 2005 in Sanya City, Hainan Province,the new campus, located in the Yucai area of Sanya City, covers an area of 930 mu (approximately 61.4 hectares) and is currently under construction.The college has 48 majors and more than 10,000 students. Since its establishment, the college has made a series of teaching achievements,including five national demonstration majors,one national ideological and political excellent teaching team,and 18 national and provincial excellent courses.The college has more than 30 training qualifications, such as Aircraft Maintenance License Training (CAAC), Dangerous Goods Transportation Training, Aviation Safety Officer Training (CAAC), the Crew Training of Unlimited Navigation Area and Duty-free Goods Shopping Guide.In addition, the college has the National Science Popularization Education Base,the Civil Aviation Science Popularization Education Base of China,the Lufthansa Aircraft Maintenance Technology National Collaborative Innovation Center, the Hainan Provincial High-skilled Talents Training Base (Hainan Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security),Hainan Provincial Research,Study and Travel Base (Hainan Provincial Department of Tourism and Culture and the Department of Education),the Hainan Provincial Maritime Science and Technology Museum (Hainan Provincial Department of Science and Technology),the Veterans Training Base (Hainan Provincial Department of Veterans Affairs),and the provincial characteristic training and teaching demonstration center for civil aviation transportation, etc.Besides,it has formulated two national standards, namely,the Standards for Post Placement Practice in Aviation Service and the Standards for Post Placement Practice in Civil Aviation Transportation,selected as the Sino-Foreign Youth Social Practice Base in 2025.
Relying on the professional advantages of “Aviation, Navigation and Tourism”, the college innovates the “double certificate” training mode for international students at higher vocational level. The college has successfully carried out several study abroad program for international students, which includes “Chinese + hotel service skills”, “Chinese + flight crew skills” and “Chinese + professional degree” programs, among which the “Hotel Talent Class” in Nepal has trained over 1,000 “foreign craftsmen” in hotel management. The college has enrolled more than 100 language students who come from Russian-speaking country and international students with academic qualifications. The “Flight Attendant Talent Class” in Thailand innovates the training mechanism for international talents in aviation services and builds a platform for cultural and educational exchanges along the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road. In addition, in the past five years, the college has co-organized three rounds of foreign aid training sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce of China and undertaken by the Department of Commerce of Hainan Province. More than 100 civil aviation practitioners from 16 countries along the Belt and Road have participated in the training. In 2022, the college obtained the certification of foreign seafarers training course issued by Hainan Maritime Safety Administration, which has become the first pilot college of foreign seafarers training in China.In 2024, the school participated in the development of three occupational standards certified by Laos' Ministry of Education and Sports.
